New Year, New You?

Welcome back. Happy New Year. People typically like to take the opportunity to reevaluate some bad habits and try to correct them around this time of year. For our first post of the New Year lets share a few resolutions you are committing to making or discuss how it may have went for you in the past. Are you able to stay committed to a resolution you make with yourself? Or what would you like to change about yourself and how can you?

  1. One resolution I have for myself this new year is to stop overthinking and thinking negatively. I have tried this resolution before and it kinda worked, but I still have to be better in it. Everyday I try to do certain activities that will help with my bad habits. Yes, I am able to stay committed to a resolution I made with myself because I know when I think less negatively I can be able to enjoy life more with no worries.

  2. My new years resolution was to eat less meat and have a balanced diet and get my body right, and i started to fail that resolution already, So my new goal is to get a membership at the gym and keep my body maintained correctly in order to control my health as I go on a weekly basis.

    1. I can relate a lot towards this. My new years resolution was kind of the same since I have been feeling sick to my stomach over the school lunch. It's literally killing me, but I have no other choice (in my opinion). I feel like we should actually try together to get our health and body right. Let's start small though as in bringing healthy foods to lunch instead of eating fries and chicken everyday. Let's make it happen!

  3. My New Year Resolution is to eat healthier foods and get more sleep. I'm still working but since the year just started I haven't conquered my goal yet. Everyday, I've been working harder and harder to reach it.

  4. A new year's resolution I am committed to making this year is to have better time management. I usually struggle to stay committed to my resolution because I procrastinate so much and give up on things easily. This year I would like to manage my time better and procrastinate less so I have more time to relax.

  5. My New Years resolution is to get more sleep. Lately I've been going to sleep late, and now since I have midterms and exams coming up, it's not easy for me to go to bed early because there's a lot of things I need to study. I'm really going to try to get more sleep because the better sleep I'll get, the better my brain will function.

    1. I totally get you girl! Sleep is something we all need, but hard to get with all the work and studying we have to do. Try to stress out less, and try to manage your time more, so you have an early set bedtime. You got this and I wish you the best!

  6. my new years resolution is to better manage my time. I procrastinate too much and end up doing everything last minute, which isn't helpful or healthful. if I end my procrastination I will have less worries and more time on my hands.

  7. My New Years resolution is to start focusing on what I'm putting in my systems. I want to start eating better for my health since I have certain issues when it comes to food because I have weak stomach.

    1. I agree with you on focusing on what you put in your system, but also don't try things that your body isn't used to if your stomach can get weak. I think your capable of changing up your health, and if anything I can relate also so i'll be your motivation down your health path.

  15. Fir my new years resolution I want to get better grades. I can do this by studying longer and taking the time out of my day to understand something. I have to realize that not everyone learns at the same pace and that everyone struggles in different areas and that's okay! I hope that I can find the motivation I need to get better grades
